Valid data
Every field gets realistic fake data that should pass the form's own rules.
A form filler for developers, QA testers and agencies. One click puts realistic test data into the page you are working on: valid, empty, malformed or just out of range. It never submits and runs locally.
Form Ready fills the form in the active tab only when you ask it to, then shows exactly what it wrote, what it left alone and what the page rejected. Undo puts the fields back, and Copy summary gives you a plain-text record for the bug report.
It is not a password manager or an autofill for real accounts. It is for the sign-up, checkout and contact forms you build and test every day.
Every field gets realistic fake data that should pass the form's own rules.
Required fields cleared and the rest completed, so every error message shows.
Malformed emails and URLs, wrong steps and broken patterns wherever the form declares them.
Boundary values one step past the minimum, maximum and length limits.
Puts the fields back the way they were before the run, and keeps what you changed since.
Your email, name and password whenever a run should pass. {n} in the email gives every sign-up a fresh address.
Every run has a seed. Repeat brings back the same data when you need to reproduce a bug.
A plain-text record of the run, with passwords masked, ready to paste into a ticket.
Alt+Shift+F runs the valid scenario without opening the popup.
Form Ready is careful with the page it touches and with the person using it.
In React, including React Hook Form, Formik and the text, number, checkbox and radio fields of Material UI and Ant Design, and in Vue, the app's own state updates, not only what you see. Custom dropdowns, date pickers and styled checkboxes are reported rather than guessed.
Labels in Bulgarian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Russian and Turkish get the right kind of value. Dates follow the order a field asks for, phone numbers fit the field, and postcodes follow the pattern a page declares.
Form Ready is published on the Chrome Web Store. Add it to Chrome, pin it beside the address bar, and fill your first form. No account and no signup.
No. It never clicks a button or submits. It also leaves alone controls that would reload the page or open another one, so the page stays where it is.
No. Form Ready makes no network requests. It reads the form in the tab you use it on, and your saved values stay in this browser. See the privacy details.
Yes. Save it once under My values. Put {n} in it, as in qa+{n}@yourcompany.com, and every run gives you a fresh address for sign-up tests.
The fields the run changed, the way they were before it. One exception: a radio button the run chose stays chosen until you reload the page, because a web app cannot be told that a radio group is empty again.
Yes. Everything Form Ready does today is free to use, with no account and no usage limit. If paid extras come later, they will be new features on top: what is free now stays free.
No. Form Ready is a testing aid. Use it on forms you are allowed to test, not to submit fake information to services you do not own.
