What the Form Ready Chrome extension reads, what it keeps in your browser, and what it never does.
1. Who publishes Form Ready
Form Ready is a Chrome extension published by Tabu Analytics. This notice covers the extension. The Tabu Analytics privacy policy covers the website, launch waitlists and support requests.
2. What it reads
Form Ready reads a page only when you click its icon or press its keyboard shortcut, and only in the tab where you did so. It reads that page's form controls: their labels, names and types, and the rules the page declares for them, such as required fields, lengths and patterns. It uses them to choose test values and write them into the page.
It does not read pages in the background, does not keep a browsing history, and never reads tabs you did not use it on.
3. What it keeps, and where
- In this browser's extension storage (
chrome.storage.local, on this device and never synced): your chosen scenario, the Overwrite setting, and any My values you type, such as an email, a name, a username, a password, a phone number or a company. Use test values here: a My values password is stored as you typed it. - In the browser's session memory (
chrome.storage.session): the last run on each tab, meaning the page address, the labels of the fields and the test values written, so the popup can show it again. It is cleared when the tab or the browser closes. - Inside the page itself, until it reloads: a record of what the recent runs wrote, so Undo can put the fields back.
4. What it sends
Nothing. Form Ready makes no network requests: no analytics, no crash reports, no account and no server. Every release is checked automatically for network code before it is published.
5. Permissions
- activeTab: to reach only the tab where you click the icon or use the shortcut.
- scripting: to run the fill, and Undo, in that tab.
- storage: to keep your settings, your My values and each tab's last run in this browser.
Form Ready does not ask for access to all websites, and nothing runs until you act.
6. Your control
Clear a My values field to delete what it held. Closing a tab or the browser clears its last run. Removing Form Ready from Chrome deletes everything it stored.
7. Chrome Web Store commitments
Form Ready does not sell user data, use it for advertising, transfer it for credit or lending decisions, or use it for anything other than filling forms for testing, in line with the Chrome Web Store Limited Use policy.
